Can you ovulate after 2 days?!

I have been on the pill for years. DH and I decided to start TTC and I stopped taking my pills mid-pack. I was a little over excited and eager if you can’t tell.

In any case, I took an ovulation test 2 days after my final pill (which wasn’t the final pill in the pack since I threw them out mid-pack), and the ovulation strip looked very close to positive! I was shocked.

Does anyone have any experience or knowledge about how quickly you can ovulate after stopping the pill cold turkey? We went ahead and did the deed just in case. It’s been a week, and my breasts feel tender, but I think it’s probably psychosomatic.

I think when stopping the pill, the body can do some pretty wild things so not impossible. Also, when are you counting as your last pill day? Hormone pill or sugar pill?

In any event, I am here bc I just get a positive pregnancy test when my husband and I had sex on cycle day 6!That shocked me so I am willing to believe a lot right now

Have you taken a pregnancy test? Sometimes ovulation tests will show positive when pregnant.
