This doesn't seem to have moved up since March which I find surprising since TJ admissions have come and gone since then. Does anyone have any insight into what's going on? Ive contacted them but no response.

Others on this forum have said the waitlist always moves in the summer, and every year all interested students are offered the transfer spot. |
My DS got into the IB program for next year. He'll be a sophomore.
He's actually not sure if he's going to take it. DD did it and it was an incredible amount of work - nearly impossible for anyone who wants to have a social life or extracurriculars and be able to sleep. He'll probably chose to stay at his home school, but wants to keep his IB spot until he's sure. Most likely more kids are thinking this way. |
I believe there was no waitlist for 10th or 11th. Just for 9th, and it is pretty long. |
My kid got off the waitlist for 9th after the first 2 weeks of the new school year. |
Heads up that if your kid is in the performing arts, there’s proposed changes that would not allow them to do both that and IB (without summer school or approval to take extra classses)

Does anyone know what happened with this proposed change? Also, anyone who never got off the waitlist for IB for this school year? 9th or 10th grade? |
Don't know about waitlist movement, but can comment on the ability to do performing arts (band, orchestra or chorus) and the full IB diploma: it is possible without Summer school classes, but will take careful course selection, with the performing arts class being the only non-IB class taken in 11th and 12th grades. Hi how many applicants this year? and how many got in? thanks |
