I agree. Young people today don’t know what’s good for them. No firearms, credit cards, student loans, marriage, mortgages or childrearing until age 25 either.

I know this guy was born in the U.S. but has he never taken an American history course? He is completely ignorant of how and why Constitutional amendments were adopted and how and why rights have been expanded to groups of people who had been exploited as free labor or cannon fodder when they had no right to vote. If you don’t think 18-24 year olds are mentally adept enough to vote, what about 80 year olds? Should they vote? Should they serve in office? What about 90 year olds like Dianne Feinstein and Chuck Grassley? Should elderly people take some kind of mental acuity exam? This is an honest question, and I’m asking I’m good faith toward those who want to limit voting on the younger end.

I posted earlier about my dumb dumb gen z siblings and the other gen z boneheads I’ve encountered. I would absolutely support requiring cognition tests before those over 80 are allowed to vote.
