Do you always look like that, or does your face adjust?

To losing a lot of weight?

From another thread:

EVERYONE that loses a lot of weight in a short amount of time looks like that, no matter how they lose the weight.

We don't know that she used Ozempic, everyone is just assuming it. Either way, she looks strong and healthy and just let it go, troll.

Do you always look like that, or does your face adjust?

You have to do procedures
Your skin can't keep up with losing a lot of weight fast

Look like what?

I lost a lot of weight rapidly when I had a health crisis, and my cheeks hollowed out a bit, accentuating my cheekbones. Since I have a round face, I thought it made me look better... apart from the whole ICU/surgery thing.

so if you are fat and need to lose weight... you should only do so slowly?
if you gained really rapidly due to SSRIs, is that still the case?

Even if you do it slowly sometimes skin does come back. My stomach had never been the same since I carried my giant baby

I had a normal sized baby and returned to my pre-baby weight pretty quickly, and my stomach has also never been the same.

It has nothing to do with how fast you lose weight but skin quality due to age, how much and how long it's been stretched, sun exposure, etc.

My 55y.o. sister lost 90lbs. She recently got a bit of excess skin removed and a neck lift. It turned out so well, her surgeon is begging her to be his before & after model. Nothing gaunt or old about her face. She looks younger than she did with so much excess weight. I love seeing her so happy.

It doesn’t matter how fast or slow. Weight gain and loss is bad for your skin, full stop.

It’s funny that you don’t see the obvious in your own post.

If everyone had that result her surgeon wouldn’t want her pics. She had an unusual result.

It's nothing to do with Ozempic in particular, it's just the weight loss. When you lose weight, you lose fat from your face. Fat in your face makes you look younger because your face is rounder and your wrinkles aren't as obvious. So, losing weight makes people look older.

But it's not Ozempic or how fast or slow you lose the weight, it's just...having a thinner face.

It’s genetics. I had 3 kids, one of which due to swelling gained 60lbs and I was gigantic. I lost the weight fast and don’t have a single stretch mark and my stomach went back to normal. No loose skin. I have very oily skin, I’m white, but have olive skin. I’m 45 and don’t yet have any wrinkles. This is completely genetic.
