Wooten/Churchill high schools

We’re considering moving to get into the clusters for Wooton or Churchill high schools. They seem to be smaller in size - our child has a learning disability and on a 504 plan. Would these schools be able to accommodate her? How big are the regular classrooms?

We live in Silver Spring and Blair is huge and we’ve heard they do a terrible job for students with special needs.

I’m a Wootton parent. We’ve had a good experience with accommodations being followed but my kids self-advocate. The school doesn’t feel small to me but I suppose it’s smaller than most other county HSs. I don’t know how large classes are though.

We sent three kids through Wootton. Great experience. ( The middle school had issues). Prepared them exceptionally will for college.

At first, I was concerned that the school wot be too hard. But they met the challenge! Most kids can handle it if they apply themselves.

The negative aspects, drugs etc.., not bad there.

The previous principal was much better.
