Would love any up-to-date info on DCYFC. Overall, I liked the coaches and their approach. That said, I saw some red flags about Mitch (the founder) on a 2019 thread

But honestly, (a) there was nothing specific and (b) its unclear how much that matters vs. the coaching style.

Our U9 kid is naturally in to soccer (watches games on his own). Would it be nice if he played through to hs? Sure, but we aren't banking on that and not pushing hard for it. We really care more about him having fun, developing his skills, and not taking unnecessary risks getting injured. We wouldn't want coaches that are a-holes, always yelling at the kids, or pushing them to the point of breaking.

Just trying to see if this is a good fit!
