My kids are leaving the nest

Anonymous
I have 5 kids, 26,25,23,21,8.
3 have left the nest and one will be graduating collage, and I started a full time job on his field, I am both ready and not ready for him to leave the nest, what is the best way to prepare for this moment? I am happy for them, but its still bittersweet for me. I am 1st generation Hispanic American, and I know that is different here, and they move out young over here. I still have an 8 year old, but the house its already felling empty with my oldest gone..

The quiet drove me nuts in the beginning. I cried a lot. The transition is huge even if you still have an 8 year old at home. The 8 year old will probably be sad too. Having the job will help.

Congrats mom. They're fledging.
