nasal rinse

ok, my third season with allergies so i'm trying a nasal rinse. instructions say i put it in one nostril and tip my head so it comes out the other. seems to either just come out the same nostril or go back into my throat. is there a trick to this?

It's o.k. to let it dribble out of your mouth.

Hold your head so you're looking down at your sink and then tilt your head to the side that you want the rinse to come out of.

You've got to tilt your head in a certain way until you get the hang of it. You'll know as soon as it comes out of one nostril and doesn't drip down the throat.

I agree that the Youtube clips may be useful.

get the bottle that squirts instead. Much easier. neil's sinus rinse (I think)... can be found at any CVS
