| He "unknowingly" hit the girl? These morons apparently can get guns and fire them off without ever understanding that bullets come out and hit stuff like children's heads? |
"When detectives spoke with Doyle, he reportedly told them he observed shadows outside his home and went inside to retrieve his firearm, per the release. Detectives said he told them he then went back outside, observed people running away from his property, began shooting at them and "unknowingly hit the girl." He hit his target, he just thought that shadows meant gangs of hoodlums |
| The paranoia exhibited by these men sitting at home who are so fearful of someone knocking at their door, driving up their driveway, playing hide-and-seek in their yard, etc. that they pick up and fire a weapon needs to be addressed. Who is telling them that they are in such mortal danger 24/7? I'll tell you who, the RW "news" ecosphere. |
| Teens playing hide-and-seek at 1am? |
Is normal |
Probably a sleep over. We used to do stuff like that at that age. |
As a parent I would never allow my young teen out in the “early morning hours” of a Sunday to run around through people’s yards. Neither did my parents. But we take our parenting seriously. As a single woman if I saw people running around my house at 1-2am I’d be freaked out too. Add in this guy was in a rural area where the police are a long drive away and he probably felt threatened. |
Yup, blasting away at shadows is the right way to handle it, all right. |
I don’t care if he felt threatened. It doesn’t justify what he did. And no, my kids would not be doing that either. But I doubt you are actually a good parent anyhow. |
God almighty you people make excuses for every child killed by guns. |
So they were running away and he just went and shot them in the back. |
It was probably a sleepover and the parents in charge were probably asleep. It is totally normal. |
This. These “manly” men from the RW world who scream about the importance of “strong masculinity” are just a bunch of scared weinies. The real brave people are like that mom at Uvalde who the cops handcuffed and then after she jumped over the fence (WITHOUT A GUN), walked into the school while the active shooter was there and rescued her son. The Republicans should be ashamed of the fear they have unleashed. |
