My 79 year old father is mentally intact, with extremely limited mobility. I'd like to set him up with some type of interactive online discussion group. I went on Outschool, but that seems mostly geared towards kids/teens. Any suggestions? |
Try the Osher Center for Lifelong Learning through Johns Hopkins or AU:

Thank you, these look great! |
I’ve seen online Meetup’s that are book clubs around a subject like History, or group language classes. |
Also Oasis - https://washington-metro.oasisnet.org/ |
See if your community has aging in place organizations (they often have village in the name). I addition to practical help they often have online meetups. |
Plus one to OLLI DC. It's a very well-run operation and the majority of their offerings are online. |
Some public libraries are also offering online book discussion groups. |
