APS Extended Day

We have a daughter at Claremont who will be in 4th grade next year. For various reasons, we have never utilized Extended Day through APS. Next year, we are hoping to get in because of a few work schedule shifts. Considering everyone that was in it last year has priority, what are the odds of someone getting in the first time as a 4th grader? We have started looking at other options just in case. Trying to mentally prepare. Thank you.
