Mass shooting at Annapolis mall

For some reason this isn’t getting national attention . Is this common in Annapolis? https://twitter.com/foxbaltimore/status/1654564989674352641?s=46&t=Rw_jX1uyupQwvEwsjuQulQ

That photo is not of Annapolis Mall. It is of a store a mile away across several large, busy roads.

Yes, I think it was at a shopping center in Annapolis, but not the mall.

No it's not common.

+1 The shooting was at “a strip mall in Annapolis,” not at “Annapolis Mall.”

Horrible, though.

OP, for whatever reason you love to be the first poster of news of this sort. But, so often you get things wrong. This is not the first time and it is hardly a rare instance. This was not a mass shooting and it was not at the Annapolis Mall. There is literally nothing correct in your subject line. Moreover, the tweet to which you linked didn't make either claim that you got wrong. Please slow down and prioritize getting things correct rather than getting them fast. We will all survive a little delay in the news.

Thank you, Jeff - my thoughts exactly (not at the mall! not mass shooting! not a frequent event!)

Too bad this poster is in a habit of starting those sensational threads - and thank you for pointing this out to the rest of us.

Doesn’t mention how many people were wounded, just the ones killed? WTH? The people who didn’t die still have their lives shattered by being shot, and we don’t even hear about them… Gun lobby must have moles working in the media now, diminishing these stories.

I live nearby and am surprised it didn’t come up in my neighborhood fb group.

I gotta say, I am starting to feel numb to them. They are as endemic, it seems, as car accidents. Horrible. You feel sorry for those who are the target. You feel additionally sorry for innocent bystanders. But it's just an everyday thing now.
