Thanks for interview

Anonymous
I had a screening interview today and would like to send a thank you email to the interviewer. But I can’t find his email address. Would you send a thank you to his assistant, who set up the interview, asking her to pass along my thanks?

No. first I'd think a minute. If it's a company, everyone uses the same format for emails. Like at my law firm everyone is first initial last name @lawfirm.com. So as long as you know his name and the assistant's email address, you can figure it out.

Also, check linked in.

Maybe for a company of 5 people. I’ve seen multiple formats, some with numbers, some have maiden names, some have middle initial.

& that’s accross several large enterprises.

There’s no way I could figure this out. It’s a huge company and I don’t know his middle initial.

I vote thank the assistant

That’s what I decided too. I figured that was easier than hiring a PD.

Yes.

Why not email the assistant and ask him/her to confirm the interviewer’s email address?
