5th AAP SOL - What's tested

Why are you prepping your kid? Don’t they do that in school? I’m only asking bc I’m doing nothing to prep my child and now I wonder if I’m missing something!

6th grade. Our teacher added a folder in Schoology with practice and such. Start there.

Thank you, all! We don’t supplement outside school. This is good time for us to review what he has been taught. Better than remediation after the test.

I would hope that a kid in AAP is ready for the SOL without extra work at home. DS’s Teacher sent home an email that they have SOL packages they are working through at school and that he doesn’t expect the kids to need to do much at home.

If a kid is in AAP and not passing SOLs then they don’t belong in AAP.
