Options Better than White House Nannies

| Our full-time nanny is through White House Nannies and we use them for back up care. Lately they have not been able to find a back up nanny unless we are able to give almost a week notice. What are better options for same day or day before back up care? Kids are 1 and 3. (We don't have family in the area or we would do that). |

| Do you have friends with a nanny that would let you drop off your kids for one day? We have done that before with friends. Also, we always ask our current nanny for recommendations when she is sick/on vacation. Facebook groups and listservs are another good option. Once mid-May is here you may have luck finding a college student home for the summer. Or look at a local university job board now. |

| I really like Coast to Coast Nannies. I also looked at Nanny Poppinz but ultimately didn't move forward with them. |
