High School Credit for MC classes

| DS is interested in taking some programming classes at Montgomery College over the summer. If he's able to find a class that is equivalent to the high school offering, is this summer class accepted for credit by MCPS? |

| He would need to enroll in a class via dual enrollment through the MCPS counseling department in order for it to also count as high school credit and appear on his HS transcript. I think there is a specific list of approved courses. There is a dual enrollment counselor at each high school to help answer these types of questions. |
