| Title says it all. |
| Depends in what regard. If they give me too much cash back, of course. Their drawer would be wrong at the end of their shift. If they charge me regular eggplant when it’s organic? No. If I realize after I get to my car they scanned 1 carton of milk when I got 2? Also no. |
| Yes. Always. |
Yes |
| Of course. |
| Only if they give me too much money back, but I use my card 99% of the time. I do not watch the screen when the cashier scans my items. |
This |
Absolutely this!! |
Yes pretty much this. I don't care to be the reason they potentially lose their job. |
What's cash? |
| Of course. It is the ethical thing to do. |
It’s a medium of exchange, typically used in drug and sex work transactions. |
| No, because I never realize it at the time and won't return just for that. However I have pointed out items they forgot to ring up - this happens surprisingly often, for some reason. |
|
Depends. If I notice it in the moment, sure, I'll tell you you only charged me for one milk and not two. I'm a kind person.
I'm not going back to the store for an error in my favor. If I notice after I leave, that's on you, my life is too hectic to add other errands for strangers to fix their mistakes. And these are all big companies, they can eat the $10 or whatever. |
Exactly this. I count my change but I do not watch the screen. I imagine I get overcharged often enough that it all comes out in the wash anyway. |
