Can’t zoom back out

I use DCUM on my iPhone in dark mode, safari, The newest Apple iOS, including the security patch that was just released today, but my problem has been for about a week.

I use the pinch feature to zoom in and out of different threads to navigate or read. In the past week or so once I zoom in, I can no longer zoom out. When I pinch to zoom out, it takes me to my other tabs. I have to refresh the page to get back to normal functionality. Do you need any more information from me? I can try to pay attention to any variables you need.

It only happens on this website on my phone. It does not happen on any other websites.

If you are using our dark mode, I have not made any changes to that at all and have no idea what might be causing this.

It just auto zoomed in right on this thread. It may be auto zooming in, and I haven’t noticed before, but I’ve definitely noticed at this time
The left ad both times I have noticed is the pet nutrition ad. There is no top ad. Bottom ad is public dot com I can’t zoom out.

Hi. Yes, I am using dark mode. It is sporadic and has not happened today. I also haven’t seen the dog food ad. Since I’m the only one seeing this, it might be me problem. If it happens again, I’ll come back.

As I mentioned, I haven't made any changes to that layout since I launched it. It is sadly neglected. If you are seeing problem, it may be due to an ad as you suspect or it may be due to some weird caching issues. I've noticed that styles from the old and new designs can be cached and interfere with each other.

Thanks, Jeff and this is my last comment because I love dark mode, so I don’t want it to ever ever go away even if it’s neglected. I just had a new thing happen. The page zoomed in and then zoomed back out on its own. It was not any of the ads I saw earlier.

I cleared my cache. If it’s just my phone then I can live with this because I just refresh. Since nobody else is noticing this, I’m assuming it’s just my phone issue.

I don't think many posters are using dark mode right now so even if it does happen to all of them, it might not be many. Regardless, nobody other than you has reported the issue.

I plan to eventually add dark mode to the new design. I just want to get that stabilized first. So, I hope you like the new design.
