Long Term Care Insurance

Has anyone bought a policy recently? I am wondering if I should buy one because I have family history of dementia on both sides and the cost for long term care is extremely expensive.

How did you design your policy? Are there any other options aside from saving a ton of money?

You raise great questions. Perhaps spin this off into a separate thread so your points are right at the top. Some folks with ideas may not get to this point in the thread, but may have some wisdom for you and the rest of us.

Definitely get the type that rises with inflation, that is key.
