Loving and warm staff, good communication, great environment with lots of fun activities -- they also offer soccer and gymnastics and music classes for a small extra fee, and the best perk is Parents Night Out (weekend evening babysitting 1x a month). I pay $1750 for an older toddler.
The only downside is their hours do not go very late. This was fine when we worked from home but now I am back in the office and it is a bit of a rush in the evening. But well worth that inconvenience for the rest of the upsides.
We have been at Discovery Time for three years with two kids, one who is now in k and another who is four and I honestly can’t recommend it anymore. We were initially very happy but they have had crazy teacher turnover, the communication is bad, and some of their politics are ridiculous. Teachers are still in masks and parents can’t come in the classroom.
Throughout covid, they seemed to cater to some demographic of parents who were super super vigilant, which was in my opinion to the detriment of the other, more rational families. We are moving to another school as soon as we can get a spot.
