Glow Fest Noise

OMG. The noise from RFK is terrible. WTH Mayor Bowser?

It ends at 11:00pm.

Once again, we can hear it all the way in College Park. Not cool. And it’s supposed to happen again tomorrow, but might be rained out?

I'm in Kingman Park and can't hear it whatsoever with windows closed

Simmer down, Mee-maw, it'll be over soon, it's the weekend and it doesn't happen all the time.

I heard this Capitol Hill. Really obnoxious.

And yet you choose to live in the city!

She DJing?

In Mount Rainier it wasn’t as loud as last year but still shockingly loud. It sounds like it’s a block away.

No, I live in the burbs! The sound really carries. It’s incredible.

So sick of this concert. Had a friend with a baby visiting this weekend, it was awful. We live away From the city to avoid this. Mayor Bowser was oh-so-sorry last year but here we are again. Still unacceptably loud, still approved until 11 PM. I didn’t vote for her reelection and never will again. Not just because of this of course.

It's the weekend....what's the big deal? But the fact that it can be heard all the way in College Park does seem extreme. Not sure what can be done since it's an outdoor music festival....

I live a few blocks away and couldn't hear it much from my house, but over on Kingman and Heritage Islands (I guess from how the stage and speakers were positioned?), it was horrifically loud and you could feel the base reverbating really strong.

I felt bad for the wildlife.

You all need better windows. I’m near Eastern Market and can’t hear a thing unless I open my front door.

I bought good windows and doors when we renovated. Our end of row house is as quiet as a bank vault with the windows and doors closed.

You’re all complaining about noise because you’re either too cheap or too poor to afford proper windows. You don’t belong here in you can’t buy decent windows.

What wildlife? Rats? Pigeons? Trash pandas? That’s not wildlife.
