NO POLLEN!

I grew up in Scotland, where it rained practically every day. So this puts me in the mood for my tea (dinner), and brings back memories of wind and rain lashing the house, my friend's sheepdog coming inside from a tramp on the moor and shaking himself right next to us, and my mother telling me to sit with my back against the radiator...

Huge fan. I love the sound of rain on the windows, it's so soothing. I love the dimness of an overcast sky, which is conducive to waking up gently and makes the world seem more calm and quiet. I like an excuse to wear my nice rain gear. I like that the rain will water the garden and wash the pollen off the car. I like the coziness of it even when I have to go out -- I'll stop for a tea at a coffee shop and make sure to bring a book to read during lunch or on the bus. Rain is so conducive to being thoughtful and contemplative.

I would love to move somewhere that is rainy all the time, Seattle or London or similar.

I love the fresh smell of rain. Nothing better. I stand at the back door and sniff the air like a puppy dog.

I can hide in my abode with a novel and tea without feeling guilty and sun-shamed.

I love them when I don’t have to be anywhere. Today I’m going to participate in a meeting and then crawl back into bed.

I like them in the summer as a break from the constant sun and heat. Hole up in the house and take a break from the pool and beach and feeling to always be outside. Just a recovery day.

I have too much to do and it's been a long week. So I'd enjoy the rain if I could cozy up but as it is, it's a huge demotivator. I wish it was sunny.

The rain makes it ok to "hide" at home for the day and not feel bad. It's cozy, you can read, take a bath, nap, be lazy and not punish yourself for it.

I like the sound! I also like that they make my dog really mellow. He just wants to cuddle on rainy days! I think it is because there aren't any squirrels or people walking by to monitor all day long, so he takes a break.

My car gets washed.

Does nobody work outside of their home? I do and I hate rainy days.
