| A family member running out of time before due date and trying to get a cleaner - is it necessary to clean house by professionals or doing it one self is ok too? |
| What?? |
| IA? |
| That’s a weird question, op. Nesting is a thing. If she wants a cleaner and can afford a cleaner, she should have a cleaner. |
|
If she's nearing her due date, it may be harder to clean as much as she would like. If it would buy a new mom some piece of mind, I'd get the cleaners.
|
| Eh, the pregnancy hormones make you go crazy and irrational. Your nesting instinct is out of control. There's no reasoning with a (1st time) pregnant woman. Just let it go Op. Nothing you say or do will change her mind. |
Are you the "family member " Op? |
|
Yes I am a family member- its driving me nuts that they arent getting the house cleaned and have procrastinated this far.
U am wondering is it ok for a baby if its not deep cleaned? |
Sorry typo: I meant I am wondering… |
Maybe Inshallah God willing |
| Most people don’t get the house cleaned by professionals. So yes, it’s ok! |
The baby needs clean clothes, a clean sheet in their crib, and clean burp clothes. The grownups that will hold the baby should have clean clothes, too. Everyone should wash their hands. Beyond that…the dirtiness or cleanliness of the house is immaterial to a newborn. |
If it annoys you how about you go and help them. Babies don’t need a clean house. After all, they don’t crawl yet or put things in their mouths. I had easy babies and found it very easy to clean on mat leave. |
|
Ok this really relieves my mind- if they dont end up getting professional help
I will go and help them but it wouldnt be anything like professionals lol so was wondering. |
| Do you really think everyone has their home professionally cleaned before having a baby? Of course it's not necessary. |
