Daycare Director Leaving

The longtime director at my DS' daycare is leaving. They havn't announced the replacement yet. I havn't had much interactions with her, but still can't shake off this sense of loss and uncertainty. I know it's silly. I like the teachers and that should be enough. Has anyone else had the same experience.?

There's a lot of turnover in preschools, even at the director level. It will probably be fine.

Which school?

It may also be something where they were very happy but it was time to retire or they have to move for family reasons. Our director retired but her replacement has been great.

Our director is just awful . She is very disrespectful to parents. My child was injured at school and she blamed my child who was 18 months and fell on something sharp . He was bleeding for 30 min and they did not even put a bandaid .I wish she would be gone.
