Any recommendations for a handyman to install my curtain rod for me?

You’d have more luck if you posted your general area. Handy people don’t want to drive halfway around the beltway to come and install a curtain rod.

Look for someone with good recommendations on Nextdoor or Thumbtack. I found someone who was able to stop by the day after I reached out.

+1 There isn't anything you can't learn to do on YouTube. Every adult should have some basic tools, including a drill. This is like hiring someone to reset your garbage disposal.

OP if you own the house and really are going to hire someone for this, you need to find a local handyman and then budget a lot to cover this kind of thing. Maybe some sort of monthly contract.
