DC Income Tax Question

Last Friday April 14, my accountant asked my wife and I to sign a form to file for an extension on our DC taxes and pay the estimated amount we owe ($7000). We are missing one document, but that shouldn’t change what we owe by too much. We signed the form last Friday and our accountant submitted it, but the money still hasn’t been transferred out of my account. How long does DC usually take to make the transfer? It’s our first time filing in DC so I couldn’t do it on mytax.dc.gov.

I did it on mytax.dc.gov and it credited my account instantly. I'd expect it would take a couple of weeks via check and mail.
