My neighbor downstairs, who I usually like, works from home, often outside on the porch. Sometimes she listens to music or has calls, which I don’t even care if she uses headphones or not because sometimes I work from home too and have calls outloud and generally nobody is too loud and it’s fine. But today she has been listening to hours of reggae and all of it mentions marijuana and smoking weed and rolling joints and getting high. She is working and I don’t think she is actually using cannabis at the moment. I have a four year old. I don’t want to be a K A R E N, but should I say something?
You and your snowflake will be fine.
Your 4 year old has no idea about the content of these songs.
no, get a grip
Eh, it’s 4/20
I seriously doubt the music is going to normalize pot to a preschooler.
+1 what a dumbass post |
Yes, you should say something!
What should she say? |
It’s her 4th of July type celebration of 4/20, OP. You should leave her to enjoy it and/or go down and ask for a toke, I’m sure she’d happily share we potheads are like that. 🤗

Sounds like you know each other and are friendly with her so why not say something?
What’s the actual problem? It’s not her fault you have a 4yo.
She's celebrating 4/20, don't see a problem for just one day.
Your 4 year old understands the lyrics? That's amazing comprehension.
