Montgomery County 311 works

At least for me. We got our street paved last October and the truck broke a pole that connected a walking trail to a main street. Someone put a cone over it, but must have never reported it. It felt so dangerous to me, so I reported it last week to 311 and they fixed it in 5 days. It's as if everyone was walking past the broken pole in the ground assuming someone else would report it, or the county knew about it but was too busy to fix it. So please, if you see something that needs attention, report it and don't assume someone else will!

I agree. But they do have their issues. Still, it's worth reporting what you see.

I have reported potholes that then got repaired within a few days. There were street signs hung on the wrong streets and a broken street light that took longer but got fixed within a month or so.
