How is there no suspect(s) in the Alabama shooting?

Does it seem odd that there is still not suspect(s) in the shooting that happened in Alabama this weekend?

Killing 4 and wounding almost 30 you would think the police have a suspect by now. What is the hold up?

According to this article, the suspect is no longer at large.

I am thinking that the shooter was a juvenile and so they are not identifying him/her.

Maybe they have it and (gasp!) they are not telling you?

Remember the Idaho murders? Police was criticized for not having a suspect/making arrest while they had actually zeroed on the likely murder and were gathering evidence
