Bad batch of tests?

Curious if this has happened to anyone else. I am 14 DPO and have been using cheap Pregmate test strips to track since I got a positive at 9 DPO. Tests have been getting darker each day, although today I started a new box of strips and test line was lighter (on multiple strips).

Assumed a chemical but yesterday, I had also happened to take a First Response test - the line on the First Response today was darker than yesterday.

Anyone have a similar experience with a new box of strips? To add, the first box of Pregmate strips was from 2021 (previous pregnancy); I just purchased the new box used today. Obviously, don't want to give up hope yet!
