Dentist/oral surgeon for teen with sensory issues?

Anonymous
My teen with anxiety and sensory issues is panicking because our pediatric dentist stopped taking our insurance. Any recommendations for a very gentle dental practice that takes the Federal Delta Dental? We're in the Bethesda/Chevy Chase area, but would drive to avoid complete meltdown.

DC also likely needs wisdom teeth out soon, so ditto for oral surgeon.

I'm not sure about the insurance, but Dr. Lauren Lewis of EJL Dental in Rockville was phenomenal with my sensory-sensitive and very scared of all dentists son. We've had nightmare experiences with other dentists and this was a stress free experiences for all! She started slowly on the first visit and will introduce things like electric tools, putting the chair all the way back, etc. over time. Our son didn't resist or cry and actually seemed to enjoy himself.
