Sometimes I get this messed up latte that tasted different and wondered what happened?
Is it almond or skim milk instead of regular milk ? |
|
Usually if I get one that doesn't taste right, I assume they somehow pulled bad shots or didn't give me all the shots I ordered.
I normally get a short flat white with 3 shots and it makes no sense that I can't taste the espresso 1/3 of the time. If I have time, I'll go to a different coffee place, but sometimes Starbucks is the only option. |
| Stupid problem. |
or its burnt milk. hate that. |
|
I noticed that the same basic order of a latte will taste different depending on whether it's a grande or a venti fwiw -- I think it's a different shot to milk ratio. So I don't order ventis anymore.
Otherwise I haven't noticed anything weird from my starbucks lattes but i guess ymmv. |
| Sometimes they have a rich freshly ground coffee flavor, sometimes they don't for whatever reason. Sometimes they taste like they barely used any expresso. A venti has only two shots of expresso. A grande also has two shots. I order a grande for this reason. |
This. Sometimes it’s weak, sometimes not. The baristas, if asked, will be perplexed and say everyone uses the exact same ratio. But there is always human error some people are more meticulous than others. |
And? We can talk about stupid problems on DCUM. |
Not when you're paying $6 for a drink and have to trash it. |
| Are you going to different stores or getting different baristas a different hours? |
Yes |
And we can criticize you for it. |
Never do that! Just tell them it doesn't taste good and they'll either remake it or let you order another drink of the same price. |
$6 for one coffee? 😮 |
Not convenient a lot of time with morning rush and limited time. |
