Summer school at individual high schools

Have any high schools announced their summer school offerings for this year? Any offering Health B?

Need to schedule a driver's ed course for my Class of 2025 kid, and wondering how long we should wait to see whether their school will offer Health B so they can try to fit both in this summer. Counselor didn't have any information last time my kid asked.

When are those school offerings typically announced, at least in relation to the central summer school registration?

My son’s school Poolesville HS will not be offering it.

MCPS waits until the last minute to announce so that no one can plan vacations, internships and other activities. Howard county has already announced their robust summer school program, available for all schools, not just a couple of the better ones.

Can any kid take a class at any HS over the summer? I thought the ones done by the school were just for their own students and the MCPS ones were for anyone?

I think anyone can if there is space available, but they give preference to their own students.
