Hello - I am interested in a basic, easy to use watch (for dummies) that will also track my steps. Any suggestions? Thank you! |
I have a "BIGGERFIVE" (chinese brand) basic rubber band watch/step tracker off Amazon.... was probably less than $25 and have been wearing it two years with no issues. It holds a charge for many days and has a very simple app/interface. |
I am happy with my simple Fitbit. I bought it for $50 off of craigslist |
Agree, get the Inspire from Fitbit. But also, if you have an iPhone, it is a step counter (look at the health app) and can work just fine. |
I have a pedometer on my iPhone I think it was a free app |
Doesn’t work if you aren’t holding phone. |
I truly love my Apple Watch. You can buy refurbished. I upgraded my phone plan by $5 and my calls get routed to the watch, which is terrific so I can be phone-free and carry nothing while I'm out on walks by still available to my family if they need me. |
I like my Fitbit Luxe. It is small and slim, which I like, and SO much cheaper than the Apple Watch. Also a nice basic watch. |
Yes it does, it works with a swinging arm. |
I think you are holding your phone if you're swinging your arm. ![]() I find it works if its in my pocket. |
+1 it’s not reliable. |
Thanks all! I do have an iPhone but looking something that will track even if I’m not carrying my phone. I would also like to start wearing a watch again.
I’ve considered the Apple Watch but just feel like maybe I want a break from my phone?? Idk. Thanks again for the ideas. Good ideas to get something used possibly too. Thx! |
I have a 70-ish dollar fitbit. Do not remember the name. |
I like the vivosmart 4 because it is one of the smaller ones. |
+1. I've had different experiences vivosmart models. Maybe mine's a vivosmart 3? You can get them refurbished at a reasonable price, especially older models. I find that mine has all the features I need without too many I don't. |
