| I have picky eater, and we will fly international flights for 10 plus hours that will includes at least 2 meals. Does airline have kid meal or special meals for picky eater? My kid eats butter, jelly, peanut butter, plain bread, plain white rice, french fries, chicken nuggets, juice/milk, and chips/crackers. |
|
Likely, no, though they'll have drinks. The best thing to do is to bring your own food if your kid is that picky. Bring a bunch of crackers and pick up a McDonald's meal in the terminal before you fly.
But don't bring peanut butter, you could literally kill someone else. |
| Yes, most airlines have kids meals on long haul flights. Think chicken nuggets, pasta with tomato sauce, etc |
|
What airline? Lots of airlines offer kids meals. We flew United to Europe over spring break. You pre order kids meals via the app (under view/manage reservations).
On the way over they got chicken tenders, potatoes, and gummy bears and then yogurt. On the way back they got pasta with a roll and chocolate. Then a plain turkey sandwich on white bread. |
|
Here is a link to the airlines that offer kids meals. Again, you MUST order ahead of time.

If you're flying to Asia, there will be meals with rice.
I would pack lots of snacks and food that your kid will actually eat, such as bread and jelly packets. |
| I'm a picky eater. Just bring your own food for that kid. Or buy it after you've gotten through security at the airport. |

I have a picky eater. I did not order a special meal for her. I brought some snacks and when the meal came - she could take what she wanted from it (if anything).
At least on our recent flight to Israel - we flew out at around 10pm and midnight - so she already had a regular dinner before that crazy late dinner on the flight. I certainly did not care if she didn't eat a second dinner on the flight. |
| If that’s all my kid ate I’d be booking an appointment with a feeding therapist. |
As long as PB is allowed on flights - you should assume people will have nuts on the flight. |
Our last flight back from London, they made an announcement that there was a passenger on board with extremely severe nut allergies, and for people to be mindful of that, and not use foods containing nuts. I have never head that happen before, but in OP's shoes, I would err on the side of caution and feed the kid things that won't kill someone else. Not only could it kill someone else, it inconveniences everyone when the plane has to make an emergency detour to deal with it. |
But if it's not the rule, I guarantee others will have nuts on the flight whether or not OP does. |
Pack food for your kid. Take a small insulated bag. Do not rely on airplane food |
| Just bring your own food or get to go food at airport restaurants. Not hard |
| I would bring your own food and then grab some at the terminal. Even if the airline has a kids meal, for a picky eater you run the risk of them not liking it anyways |
