LS/NVA Drama

It's not about YOU, the size of your club or how much money you have. It's about the kids not only learning how to play the game but learning how to deal with other people, being part of a team, learning to fail, learning to work hard and earn something. Get over yourself people and just let kids enjoy learning.

The same things are happening in schools. Teach your kids at home to be good humans, to respect people and it's OK if little Sarah or Johnny fail once in a while, it'll make them stronger.

Parents, your time is over...
Your HS coach cut you from the team because "he/she didn't like you" and now you're trying to live through your child at "the biggest" club playing MLS Next or this and that. Relaxxxxxxxxxxx

Ya know, when I first discovered this forum a couple years ago I was also lured into making sensible post like these but after a while you realize it falls on majority deaf ears. You also come to grips with the fact this forum is like reading the National Inquirer back in the day or like watching some crappy reality show. Just sit back and laugh or if it's too annoying just change the channel 🤣.

Case in point, this one is too slow to realize I was agreeing with you, just telling you to save your breath 🤣

How’re we feeling about Ryan pocketing $180K yearly for absolutely no quality service of any kind?

If you don’t like it then go over to the neighboring club but they seem to have their own problems of late.

What is going on with NVA 2013G having a 20 player roster?
Wow! I think NVA 2013G is the only club in the DMV carrying such a massive roster for U13 girls, it really blows my mind!
I was considering NVA for my daughter next year, but this makes me think it’s a big no for us.

ur kid is not getting playing time. Ask ur coach why. Large ro$ter$ are the norm in GA\ECNL in the dmv.

Try another club nova has plenty of GA clubs

That is normal for recruiting age teams. That is not normal for the younger teams.

If your kid can produce on the field then you dont have to worry about the roster size.

How will I know if my child is good enough to get meaningful playing time? Do they tell you that before you spend 4K and sign a year long contract?

There are 20 players on the team but only 11 on the field. Does that mean the other 9 sit on the bench and wait for their pity playtime, How sad.

No, a few get cut each week. Again, you need to make sure TD is making his mortgage in Cashburn, get the kids thru college and then have his free time for golfing. None of that pays itself!?

I guess you could just cut the roster size and those pity players would go to other clubs where they may get more time but will have to deal with getting routed every week. There's only 3 area teams in the top 3; if they can't get clock they for sure aren't getting it at one of those other 2 clubs.
