Democrats have been in office the past 12 out of 16 years and the country has gone to hell. Voters aren't buying the bs Democrats are selling. All they do is blame Trump and gaslight. A majority of voters feel the country is going in the wrong direction and are ready for a change.

How can a woman vote Democrat citing women’s rights on abortion and yet be Ok with men playing women’s sports and being in their locker rooms? Since liberals can’t even define a women how can they even define women’s rights? Seems contradictory.

Also men competing against women in sports.

In my home state (Massachusetts) men have been allowed on women’s sports teams and women on men’s teams if there is not an equivalent for the other sex since Title IX passed in 1970. For instance, men can play field hockey and women can play ice hockey with the other sex if it’s not offered for their sex. In the 1990s / high school my good female friend played on a men’s ice hockey team. I think there are problems with that approach, but I’m also not sure why this is the angle people are worked up about when I’m assuming Mass isn’t the only state where this has been in effect my entire lifetime.

Can we just pause and think for a moment about the stupidity of basing a vote on college sports? I mean… the fall of American democracy, reproductive rights, climate change…? And you’re worried that your DD won’t make the Lacrosse team.

DP/NP. It isn't just about the lacrosse team. It is about how the "lacrosse team" turns into so much more, as it already is. Men who want to be in bathrooms with little girls and use the excuse of I'm transgender, and so on. Too many people like you have hurt the Dems for not caring about the safety of girls. We care about abortion but not our girls. And as a party we have not been able to see how that nuance has hurt us. That Title IX is just one example of the myopic view the party has had. A felon can win because the Dems have not been realistic enough to see the damage their limited view has caused.

Anyway, I just feel despair that we have done this to ourselves.

I keep,seeing this storyline - which is always splashed all over Fox News - being made this huge thing. How many times have trans men been actually found to do this? Now how many nice straight adult coaches and pastors been found to be molesting kids? That’s a story where we see arrests all the time.

GA and NC will go to Trump. That seems clear given his 5pp lead with not many votes left to count.

Trump still leads in VA, but the NYT seems very confident he will nonetheless lose. We’ll see what happens.

Still early days in PA, WI and MI, but the signs aren’t encouraging for Harris. PA lead is down to 0.1pp and Trump is leading now in WI. NYT ticker is leaning in Trump’s direction for both states although they are officially a tossup.
