Decent (non-rip off) Mechanic Service in Bethesda/Silver Spring/Wheaton Areas?

We have a new-ish VW but every time we take it to dealership for scheduled maintenance (it's no longer under warranty) they come up with thousands of dollars in "needed" repairs. It's hard to tell what's legit and what isn't and we generally end up feeling like suckers.
Does anyone have/know of a car service/mechanics shop where they don't feel ripped off? Bethesda/Silver Spring/Wheaton areas would be ideal. Thank you for any advice! |
