Current experiences with GW IVF

Those of you who have been with GW since it became just in doc — can you tell us about your experiences? I am intentionally leaving this very open-ended.

Honestly, it's hard to say. Depends on where you are in your journey. It's been a little rocky the last few months as several nurses left and the Dr had an upcoming vacation and family emergency. There was a day last month when I came in for my lining check at the morning monitoring time, and it was total chaos. Several girls who were supposed to start their cycles had them cancelled because of staffing issues because they didn't have enough nurses to handle that many patients. I'm finally at a point where I need a lot less doctor attention and fewer appointments, so I can't say what it's really like for ladies doing IVF cycles. But I suspect it's approaching something closer to normal and they have gotten through their roughest patch. No idea if there's a new doctor coming on, but considering how things went last month, I really hope they get another one.

Nevermind. The university is shutting them down. It sounds like it's been in the works for awhile.
