Party favor ideas

Please recommend party favor for 10 year old boys. My son wants to give out bags of candy - mainly because he wants all the extra . He's addicted to sugar so I'm trying to avoid that. His party is at a trampoline park so I was thinking a nice jump rope with a tag thanking them for coming? My son does not seem happy with this idea. He said it should at least be something fun, but he's not giving me any suggestions- and the party is a week away so I really want to order or but it today.

I hate party favors that just add to the landfill. I’m actually with your kid with the candy.

As for his sugar addiction, just be a parent and control it. Buy 3 types of loose candy like Starbursts, Skittles and gummy worms. Fill a sandwich sized ziploc baggie or clear plastic gift bag, tie it up and be done. No need to go overboard and no leftovers.

Book, tshirt, nothing, $5 robux gift card.

Give candy, give him ONE party favor bag like every other kid gets, and donate the rest of the candy to your office, or the local firehouse or somewhere.

We always give candy.

I prefer consumables - maybe not candy, but a cookie would be good.

+1. Cookie, candy, Mad Lib or joke books are also good.

Really Op? A jump rope? for 10yr old favor?

Have a pinata and let the candy and trinkets the kuds gather be the party favor take-home.
Have balloons as part of the decor and then give each kid one of them as they walk out. Win-win.

Nobody wants a jump rope.

Nothing. Have candy at the party. Just stop with favors. A 10 year old kid can go to a party and not come home with a present for themselves.

I gave temporary tattoos of the theme; or something they make, use, or do… cupcakes they decorated, apron they used cooking, canvas they painted, slime they made, etc.

For the trampoline park….. if they allow you to bring your own grippy socks you could get each kid a cute pair. If there is a theme for the cake or decorations, you can focus on that. I hate “stuff”, so I like your kids idea of candy.

10 yo Kids are not expecting anything big if anything at all. (It’s the parents that think they need to. My kid has never been disappointed not to get anything. They are tired, and usually leave after eating cake!). For you, the trampoline jumping is their thank you gift for coming. But if you do feel pressure to get them Something, give the items at the end…. On their way out..

OK, thanks for all the feedback. Definitely will not do a jump rope even though I was thinking of a high-quality fitness kind. I will order large iced cookies for party favors as my son really wants to give something. Also, a t-shirt or book seems like a good choice from my standpoint but probably not from my kid's...

Get a king sized candy bar for each participant. There won't be any extra for your kid to gorge on and you can print cute labels to go around the candy bar to satisfy your pinterest urge (I get it, I have it too!)

My 11 year old just had his party at a trampoline place and we didn't do party favors. It was fine, nobody asked or complained.
