emergency ovidrel?

i ordered my ovidrel separately from other meds for reasons. it was scheduled to arrive this morning. now it's not coming til monday. doc just called -- i'm probably triggering tomorrow evening -- on a sunday.

specialty pharmacy is going to work with me, they say, to get me my trigger tomorrow if i need it. but they are in rockville and i'm in dc and do not have a car. nurse on phone says there's an emergency service in fairfax -- also too far for me to go without car rental. pharmacy says to call back tomorrow morning and we'll figure it out.

my question for you is -- has something like this every happened to you -- needing ovidrel on a sunday? where and how did you get it? in other words, are there specialty, emergency pharmacies anywhere in dc proper or right outside the district that carry ovidrel and are open on sunday afternoons?

I used SMP Pharmacy in Rockville for my ovidrel. They are an 8 minute car ride from Shady Grove Metro. Sunday is Easter so the hours might be different but Google says they are open 10-2 on Sunday. Metro out, Uber to pharmacy, Uber back, metro home. Even an Uber round trip is cheaper than missing a cycle for a preventable reason.

Why not Uber or a combo of metro and Uber to either of them? This is not a big deal at all

Feel like you're going to have to suck it up. Can you ask a friend to give you a ride or borrow their car if cost is that prohibitive? Orvidel needs to be refrigerated so bring a cooler if you do metro.
