I am reading "Life after life" by Kate Atkinson. I'm really enjoying it and I know I picked it up on someone's recommendation here. But I cannot find that post now. All I see is posts where people hated it.

This gave me an idea. Since we don't use usernames, how about having a thread of book recommendations. But we only quote our own messages to add to the list. For example, I'd love to know what other books a poster who liked "Life after life" would recommend.

It’s much less cumbersome to look at the reviews on GoodReads and click on the reviewer’s name to see what else they reviewed.

I also really liked Life After Life… the two books that pop in my mind that I liked in similar ways are Midnight Library and Thirteenth Tale.

I recently enjoyed Biography of X by Catherine Lacey. It scratched similar itches as Vladimir from around this time last year and was interesting to read following Tar.

Wrong place wrong time is a GREAT book. It’s not what you think…it’s like a time travelers wife AND a thriller! It’s great!

There is a sequel to Life after Life. So maybe try reading that.

If I like a book, I see what else that author has written and then read the author's other books.
