Health and Medicine
I'm looking for a dermatologist who will actually remove and biopsy a few skin masses that I have rather than just looking at them and giving me a "diagnosis" based on appearance. Any recommendations will be greatly appreciated!
Dr. Timothy Curtin in the Camalier building. He doesn't take every insurance, though.
Amy Cole.
I saw Amy Cole. She told me it's just a benign tumor and she won't take it off and biopsy it.
I LOVE Dr. Roni Ford. LOVE HER. Also Dr. Roberta Palestine. I've seen both and they are wonderful.
Georgetown Hospital's derm practice is in Bethesda (in one of those office buildings on Wisconsin near the Friendship Heights metro). They have a solid derm practice.
Dr. Shelly Hall in Chevy Chase.
I go to Dr. O'Neill in North Bethesda (off Rockledge). He's great, and did a very nice job removing a pre-cancerous bump on my face and stitching it up.
I saw Dr. Josef Yeager in Montgomery Village ... A bit of a drive from Bethesda, but not of the question. He's very kind, knowledgeable and patient. He did a biopsy on a small arm lump on my visit (so, didn't have to go back, pay another co-payment, etc).
... sorry, not "out" of the question
Second this. She is pretty aggressive in the precentative testing, etc, |
He's a very good surgeon. Bedside manner can leave a little to be desired, and he tends to be a little dismissive of questions he thinks are wacky, but depending on circumstances that may not matter. |
