Brown area on marble - please help!

| My tub surround has some kind of cheap builder grade white/gray marble surround. I have cleaned it with just some soap & water for the past 10 years - I got a little lazy and didn't really clean it for a bit since I rarely take a bath anyway, but then recently I noticed a large (like at least 10 inch oval) brown spot where it almost looks like the marble was burnt somehow. It literally speared out of nowhere! I tried cleaning with soap and water and then with baking soda but it's made no difference. I have no idea what it is or how to clean it. Any ideas?! |
