| If I have a regular convection oven, am I missing anything by not having an air fryer? |
| The heat is more concentrated bc it’s a smaller space. |
Also known as temperature control? Air fryer is 400+ Degrees (mine is 450) with a circulating fan, yes |
| Yes. |
What I meant is that yes, it's the same as a convection oven. |
| I don't have one but I imagine it's sort of the same thing as having a toaster oven when you also have a regular oven. Not necessary but it has its benefits if you can sacrifice the space. |
|
I use mine primarily to roast veggies while my oven is baking the entree at a different temperature.
I only have 1 oven but I suppose it wouldn't be necessary if you have multiple ovens. |
| It heats up faster so it is a bit more convenient than the full-size oven. |
This. Use it for quick lunches. |
No, it’s a small convection oven. Very similar, also very different. |
I think pp was saying that having both a full size convection oven and an air fryer is similar to having both a full size conventional oven and an air fryer in that, in both cases, the smaller appliance is redundant, but still useful. |
Oops. Fixed that. |
