Bringing a vegetable side to Easter

Anonymous
I’m in charge of bringing veggies to a “meat and potato” style family Easter. I’ve never transported a veggie side to someone outside my family and I’m going to assume that reheating isn’t going to be available here (it’s someone I don’t know we’ll and don’t want to impose). Any suggestions for a vegetable side that transfers well and isn’t too sophisticated? Also, nut free for allergens. Thanks for any recipes and suggestions!

How far away? I'd do string beans with slivered almonds. Although, asparagus is in season now, so you could do something with that.

Roasted carrots and fennel, plus a spinach salad.

What travels better roasted or steamed green beans? Thanks.

Maybe sauteed still with some crunch?

Technically asparagus is not in season here yet, but we're closer to asparagus season than green bean season.

Roasted vegetables
Ratatouille
I like these because they work well at room temperature.
