| I’m in charge of bringing veggies to a “meat and potato” style family Easter. I’ve never transported a veggie side to someone outside my family and I’m going to assume that reheating isn’t going to be available here (it’s someone I don’t know we’ll and don’t want to impose). Any suggestions for a vegetable side that transfers well and isn’t too sophisticated? Also, nut free for allergens. Thanks for any recipes and suggestions! |
| How far away? I'd do string beans with slivered almonds. Although, asparagus is in season now, so you could do something with that. |
| Roasted carrots and fennel, plus a spinach salad. |
What travels better roasted or steamed green beans? Thanks. |
Maybe sauteed still with some crunch? Technically asparagus is not in season here yet, but we're closer to asparagus season than green bean season. |

Roasted vegetables
Ratatouille I like these because they work well at room temperature. |
