Anyone have someone come to the house to do nails, maybe facials for 13 year old birthday party? Willing to go to a place too, but I don’t know any offhand that do this. I don’t have a regular nail salon or I’d start there. Suggestions? |
We did a nail party in the home and kids loved it. I think they were a little younger than 13.

How did you find the person who did it? |
I don’t trust getting nails done. You can end up with diseases or infections. |
Then don’t respond to the thread. Ugh! |
I looked into it - local spas do not allow younger than 16 |
I did this without hiring anyone. We did nails and hair conditioner, face wash and face cream with a few girls at a sleepover. I wouldn't really want my 13 year old getting a full facial. I gave each girl a brush and comb set to keep things hygienic and painted their toes. |
Seriously, I hate when threads like this pop up and people feel the need to chime in to say they don’t do their nails, don’t think makeup should be promoted to tweens, etc. No one asked for your sanctimonious opinion! |
Well, DD and I had pedis the other day and I happened to ask, and they said they would do it but no discount on the rates or anything, ofc. So, $25 for nail polish only, $40 for pedi…..I’m sure I can find it cheaper. But, a clean place is important. |
Dp sorry but if don't want opinion don't post in a public forum. Just use your own advice and ignore or ask only people you know! |
I would just try out a nail salon in your neighborhood. If it is clean and they do a decent job make appointments for your DD and 2-3 friends. Then take them out for pizza/ice cream or take them to your house for a sleepover. Easy. |
Then stay home. |
