Painful when Urinating

For the last week I have had a lot of burning when I urinate and a sharp pain right when I finnish urinating. I happened to have my annual OB exam yesterday and told her so she ordered a urinalysis and did a vaginal swab; however, she did not prescribe any medication yet becuase she doesn't know what it is. Tonight it seems worse than it has been. Anyone have any rememdies to ease the pain while I wait for my tests results?? HELP!

| Sounds like a UTI. You can find OTC medication in CVS or other drugstores. Drinking cranberry juice also might help. |
