What are you reading this month?
I’m midway through The Cartographers by Peng Shepherd. It’s decent so far. Not one of my favorites but I’ll continue with it. |
| The Copenhagen Trilogy. Just started it, really good so far. |
| I just finished Trust by Hernan Diaz. It was excellent. |
| About to finish Shutter by Ramona Emerson. Not much of a mystery but interesting main character - Navajo photographer of crime scenes who sees ghosts. Decent. |
| Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow. Can’t put it down! |
| Those Who Walk Away by Patricia Highsmith. |
| Never by Ken Follett, pretty fascinating so far |
I’m glad that I read this one *before* the war in Ukraine and the current tensions between China and Taiwan. That story seemed so frighteningly plausible! |
| I am struggling a bit with Things Fall Apart by Chinua Achebe. I'm reading it because my kid is reading it in 10th grade and I want to understand what they're talking about when they discuss it. It's been a long time since I read anything out of necessity rather than just out of choice. |
| Finishing Pineapple Street at the moment. Next up is The Teachers. |
| I’m currently reading The Only Woman in the Room by Marie Benedict. I’m not very far along, but enjoying it so far. Next on queue is Courting Mr. Lincoln. |
A friend (89 years old!) told me You have to read this, it's just crazy! I haven't gotten to the crazy part yet but I am truly finding it hard to put down. |
| I just downloaded Bonfire of the Vanities to listen to on a trip, it's a 27 hr audio book! Reviews sound good, don't know why I didn't read it years ago. |
I listened to this one - different and really good. |
I will be very interested to hear how this holds up. Please report back! |
