Summer school question re: class times

My son wants to take Foundations of Tech followed by an English class. Tech at 1:00-2:15 pm, English 2:15-3:30 pm. I'm wondering if that's doable. Can he sign off one class and get to the next class on time?

It sounds like the classes are online? I would say yes because
a) if it seems like the first teacher is keeping the kids even a second over, I'd have the kid tell the teacher about the second class and that they will be logging off at exactly 2:15 for that reason. Teacher should understand.

If a is a problem, I'd use a different device to log into the second class. Here, I'll admit I don't know the technology well... if it's easy for a kid to switch devices mid class (just log in a second time) then even a phone could be used right at 2:15 and then shift to the computer as soon as possible. If it's not easy to switch devices, I'd request a chromebook from mcps and use a home computer for one class and chromebook for second.

That sounds like a lot. These classes pack a lot into a couple of weeks. It’s going to be a rough few weeks if you are trying to fit in two classes. I would think it’s doable though.

OP- You get wants to take or needs to take English? Generally English classes are for those who need to make up the grade or need the credits for graduation.
